Do You Need New Chimney Components Installed?

We install the following:

  • Chimney Caps: This is the metal component installed at the top of the chimney that keeps out debris, animals, and rain – while still allowing smoke and gases to exit safely thanks to a mesh screen. Chimney caps also help prevent sparks and embers from escaping the chimney, which reduces the risk of a rooftop fire.
  • Cap Dampers: A cap damper, also known as a top-sealing damper, is designed to seal off the chimney from the outside when not in use, preventing heat loss and keeping out drafts. They can be operated with a pull chain or cable from within the fireplace, and because they seal tightly right at the top, they provide added protection against animals, debris, and weather.
  • Damper Locks: Damper locks are safety devices used to lock the damper in an open position – a particularly important feature for homes with gas fireplaces. Damper locks ensure that the damper does not accidentally close when the fireplace is in use, ensuring gases properly vent and that the risk of carbon monoxide buildup is greatly reduced.
  • Heat Reflectors: Heat reflectors are metal plates or shields placed at the back of a fireplace. They are designed to reflect heat back into the room, increasing the efficiency of the fireplace, while protecting the masonry from the intense heat of the fire. This addition can enhance both the heat output and longevity of the fireplace.

What Do Customers Like You Have To Say?

These guys are wonderful. They even showed up at the exact minute I asked them too. Not only did they clean our chimney. But they also gave us some lessons on how to burn the fire correctly. The value is amazing. This company is well worth the money! Trust me you really need this service every year.

The two gentlemen came over to do the chimney sweep and worked quickly and professionally. They were knowledgeable about maintenance and offered good advice to help us to maintain long lasting results. They only charged the fee that was quoted and did not add on any extras, which we appreciated. We will be happy to recommend this company.
